A highly effective biocidal amine
ACKERCIDE Y12D also known as Laurylamine dipropylenediamine and Dodecyl Dipropylene Triamine is a highly effective biocidal amine with a broad spectrum of microbiocidal properties. With similar chemistry to Triameen Y12D, ACKERCIDE Y12D performs unlike the common quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC). ACKERCIDE Y12D is non-sensitizing and only require low concentration to achieve the same efficacy as common quats; BKC and DDAC (refer to Figure 1 below). Highly effective biocidal amine with broad spectrum microbiocidal properties. ACKERCIDE Y12D is a non-sensitizing biocide with no MRL. Low concentration of Y12D is required to achieve the same efficacy as the common quats (refer to Figure 1 below). Y12D biocide serves great application in disinfecting food contact surfaces.

- Coronavirus
- Mycobacteria
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa compared to quaternary ammonium compounds (quats)
- Influenza virus H1N1
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa at short contact time
