OPO Powder, also known as Oleic-Palmitic-Oleic Powder, is a 1,3-dioleic acid 2-palmitic acid triglyceride that contains sn-2 palmitate. OPO is a structured lipid that has similarity to human breast milk. As human breast milk is the most beneficial source of nutrition for babies, OPO is added into infant milk powder formula to bring the milk formula closer to that of breast milk.
